Silver How, Blea Rigg, Pavey Ark, High Raise, Sergeant Man, Tarn Crag - 17th Aug 2015

A beautiful sunny day in the lakes and we ticked off 6 more wainwrights, setting off from Grasmere we ascended up to Silver How with lovely views back towards Grasmere before heading across an easy path towards the summit of Blea Rigg.
From there it's a fair walk before dropping down to the edge of Stickle tarn and making our way up the rocky trench of north rake which is steep but easy to manoeuvre, although in this heat it's pretty tiring and i'm glad of a rest and a flapjack break at the top!
From there we follow a gradual uphill path to the summit of High Raise before coming back on ourselves to tick off the easy summit of Sergeant Man.
Then we head east past Codale tarn and onto the summit of Tarn Crag.
It's a couple of miles back down towards Grasmere on paths cut through the bracken and finally alongside the river and waterfalls and back into town.
