Raven Crag, High Tove, Armboth Fell - 15th Aug 2015

Up in Keswick for a weeks holiday we went back and finished the second half of Route 13 from the Stuart Marshall book, we parked up along the roadside just past Thirlmere dam before making our way up forest tracks to the summit of Raven Crag(1512ft). From there we head onto the fairly uninteresting summit of High Tove and then through a very boggy section over to Armboth Fell where we clamber onto a rocky platform which is the highest point on the fell. From there it's an easy descent back to the main road which we follow back round to the car park with gorgeous views back over Thirlmere.
