Wake up early, I can't wait to get going today and want to get to Robin Hood's Bay as soon as possible as Chris' mum and uncle Jon are coming to meet us and take us home!
After a good breakfast and a chat with our friendly hosts we finally set off on the final leg of our walk. It's definitely not going to be easy as we soon realise on the steep climb out of Grosmont, i don't know if it's because we're so close to the end or just the tiredness from 14 days of walking, but every step is hard today and as great as it's been - i really want to get to the end now!
At the top of the climb we get our first view of the north sea and whitby abbey, and this spurs us on, we're so close to the finish I can almost smell the fish and chips!!
