From there it's a lovely short walk along the river and past Wainwath Force. The sun has come out and the views are beautiful as we arrive at Park House campsite in Keld. Heather, the owner couldn't have been more helpful, arranging to make us breakfast butties in the morning and a packed lunch for the next day! She even phones Keld Lodge(the former youth hostel which is now a restaurant/bar/B&B) to book us in for dinner. We spend a fantastic night there and meet some lovely people, fellow coast to coasters and several people doing the Pennine Way - drink far too much and celebrate reaching the halfway point of the coast to coast!
