We wake up for the first time to a clouds rather than glorious sunshine, so maybe we'll finally get to try out our waterproofs! I feel a bit apprehensive about the day ahead - we know it's going to be a long day and take in the highest point on the coast to coast, Kidsty Pike - so i just want to get going as soon as possible.
After another big breakfast in the bar we get our stuff together and set off on the path up towards Angle tarn, it's cloudy but not raining and we have to stop to take all our waterproofs back off as it's just too hot with them on!
