We wake up feeling really refreshed and decide that we'll carry on to Patterdale today rather than staying another night. Chris has done some running repairs on his boots (the sole started to flap open yesterday) and we just hope that the superglue holds until Robin Hood's bay! After a fantastic breakfast we get our kit together and head into Grasmere to pick up some supplies for the day and then we pick up the track heading out of Grasmere. We head up the Tongue Gill route and it's a fairly easy walk (apart from a minor diversion when we get lost!) eventually arriving at Grisedale Tarn.
