Coast to Coast Day 11 - (Wed 20th May) Oaktree Hill to Osmotherley (9 miles)

We wake up to a lovely sunny day and get the tent packed up and ready for the Packhorse van to pick up.  It's the same sort of walk as yesterday really, lots of fields and farms and quite flat most of the way.  But the weather's lovely so it's much more pleasant than yesterday's walk.  We stop off at the truck stop on the A19 for a late breakfast before carrying on through Ingelby cross and then up into Arncliffe wood where we cross the path of the Cleveland Way.  We arrive in Osmotherley mid afternoon, it's a very pretty village with picture postcard cottages and a couple of shops and pubs, and make our way to the Cote Ghyll caravan site where we'll be camping tonight.  Once we've put up the tent we have a shower and a bit of an afternoon nap(we're conserving energy for the massive walk to Blakey ridge tomorrow!) before heading into town in the evening where we have some lovely food and a few drinks at the Queen Catherine pub.  It starts raining as we get back to the tent and continues through the night, hope it stops long enough for us to put the tent down in the morning!!
