Then its onto Raven Crag and a very steep walk (and slide!) down Nannycatch Beck before following the track to our destination for the night, Low Cock how farm!! Its a really lovely place, a working farm and riding centre where we can camp for the night, and we get a lovely warm welcome from the farmer who brings us out a tray of tea and biscuits which is very gratefully recieved after a long day! We get our new tent set up, which we've not actually tried out before(big mistake!) - but more of that later!! and are lucky enough to get a lift into ennerdale bridge from the owner's daughter who even shows us the start of our route for tomorrow, before having a hearty dinner and a few pints at the Shepherd's Arms. Then its straight to bed and fall asleep straight away, absolutely worn out after our first day on the Coast to Coast!!
