Coast to Coast

This year we also did the Coast to coast walk from St. Bees to Robin Hood's Bay, which was our first proper long distance walk...but hopefully not our last!! The route takes in 3 national parks; the lakedistrict, the yorkshire dales and the north york moors and is 191.5 miles in total.  I'm going to put on a day by day account of the walk which will hopefully be useful for anyone planning to do the walk themselves.  We used the Henry Steadman book 'Coast to Coast Path' which was invaluable really, very easy to follow and i'd recommend it to anyone, and also the two Harvey maps which cover the whole route.
