We were back in the lakes the first week of October and we couldn't have been luckier with the weather, autumn is such a beautiful time to visit and we managed to bag ourselves another 14 wainwrights over the week.
First off was Great Mell Fell, just a little one to get the legs moving and while not particularly exciting, the autumn colours were really lovely to see and some nice views from the summit. We parked by Brown Rigg farm and were up and down in an hour and 20 minutes.
