A pleasant walk taking in 4 more Wainwright's, Sour Howes, Sallows, Troutbeck Tongue and Wansfell (3200 ft of ascent in total). We set off from Troutbeck village, onto Garburn Road and through fields to the summit of Sour Howes before heading onto Sallows and dipping down towards the track leading up to the valley of Trout Beck. After crossing Hagg Beck, it's a short sharp ascent up to the summit of Troutbeck Tongue before descending and continuing on a steady climb up Wansfell at which point the heavens opened and we got well and truly soaked!
